CAPE Summer Program 2024

Description: The Creative Arts Program of the East Meadow School District offers youngsters a fantastic variety of crafts, physical exercise and educational courses for children ages 4-12, must be 4 years old by July 1st.
Summer CAPE dates are July 1, 2024 - July 25, 2024
Classes are held 3 days a week. There are two sessions each day: 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM and 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
  • July 1 - July 3
  • July 9 - July 11
  • July 16 - July 18
  • July 23 - July 25
TUITION:Tuition is $495 for two classes or $275 for one class. Each class is 1 1/2 hours per day for 12 days (four weeks).

PAYMENT METHODS:
Payment by Check: Mail a check with the printout from On-Line Registration, (checks are to be made payable to CAPE and mailed to McVey School, 2201 Devon Street, East Meadow, NY 11554)
Payment by Credit Card: Payment through MySchoolBucks.
Payment by Credit Voucher: Please see the CAPE Website for directions on how to redeem Credit Vouchers.

ALL PAYMENTS ARE DUE WITHIN 5 DAYS OF REGISTERING.

Please Note CAPE reserves the right to cancel any class not meeting minimum student enrollment. In the event that your child is closed out of a class, or a class is canceled, you will be notified and your monies refunded. No refunds will be issued after June 24, 2024. All refund requests must be made in writing via email. E-mail requests for refunds should be directed to: cape@emufsd.us

Please inform the CAPE Office at the time of registration if your child has individual needs that may require an accommodation.

CAPE Summer Sports Camp 2024

Description: The East Meadow School District CAPE program is sponsoring a summer sports camp for students of the East Meadow School District. The camps will be held at East Meadow HS. Students who will be in grades 6, 7 or 8 as of September 2024 are eligible to participate. Each camp will be conducted under the supervision of NYSPHSAA certified coaches with assistance from varsity and college athletes. The camps are designed to provide participants with the opportunity to develop and improve skills. The camps will also introduce team concepts and strategies that can be implemented during game conditions.

CAPE Excursions - Summer 2024

Description:
Welcome to CAPE Excursions

The East Meadow Union Free School District is proud to offer CAPE Excursions. All trips offer students an opportunity to enjoy activities with other students from East Meadow School District. With CAPE Excursions, children get a chance to explore and gain real-world experience while enhancing social skills, critical think, and resilience. Most of all, CAPE Excursions are fun!!
  • CAPE Excursions is located at WT. Clarke High School 740 Edgewood Drive. Westbury. NY 11590
  • Trips are open to East Meadow School District students ONLY
  • There is a $50 per trip per student NON-REFUNDABLE registration fee

  5. ALL PAYMENTS ARE DUE WITHIN 5 DAYS OF REGISTERING. If registration takes place less than 5 days before the trip, payment must be through MySchoolBucks or dropped off in person to the CAPE office at least 48 hours before the trip.
  • Once registered. your trip leader will reach out to you with additional details prior to the trip
  • Please note that trip sizes are limited, therefore an early response is recommended. Please continue to check the website for up to 48 hours before trips for availability.
  • CAPE Excursions reserves the right to cancel any trip not meeting minimum student enrollment and/or due to inclement weather. In the event of a canceled trip, credit vouchers will be issued.
